How does Rejoyn help with depressive symptoms
Rejoyn is a prescription digital therapeutic used alongside antidepressant treatment for adults with major depressive disorder (MDD).
Through guided sessions in the app, Rejoyn delivers structured brain-training exercises and short therapeutic lessons. These activities are designed to support neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to change), improve communication between emotional and thinking regions of the brain, and help strengthen skills for managing negative thoughts and emotions — which may reduce depressive symptoms over time.
How much time does Rejoyn require?
The program includes brief scheduled sessions completed over a defined treatment period. Your provider will review expectations during your appointment. The brain training exercise are done 3 times per week and take around 15-30 minutes to complete and there are 6 weeks of this. There are also skills based lessons that are completed 3 days a week and take 3-5 minutes. After the brain training exercises are completed patients can have access to the skills based lessons to review for an additional 6 weeks for a total of 12 weeks.
What makes Rejoyn different from general wellness apps?
Rejoyn is a clinician-prescribed digital therapeutic. Unlike general wellness apps, it requires an evaluation and access code from a licensed healthcare provider. It was been evaluated by the FDA and received authorization to treatment symptoms of major depressive disorder along side antidepressant treatment. Wellness apps that are not prescription do not undergo this review process with the FDA.
Is Rejoyn covered by insurance?
Coverage varies depending on individual plans and eligibility. Our team can review potential options during your intake process. We offer affordable access for those that insurance does not cover or if you are uninsured.
Can Rejoyn be used alongside antidepressants?
Rejoyn is for adults age 22+ with major depressive disorder, also known as depression, who are currently being treated with an antidepressant medication by a licensed healthcare provider.
What symptoms do people often ask about when exploring Rejoyn?
Individuals commonly inquire about Rejoyn when experiencing depressive symptoms such as low mood, reduced motivation, or difficulty engaging in daily activities. A clinical evaluation helps determine whether it is appropriate.
What is the first step to getting started?
The first step is scheduling a new patient evaluation. During this visit, we review your medical history, current concerns, and treatment goals to determine whether Rejoyn or another approach may be recommended.
Why start Rejoyn through Different Mental Health Program?
Different Mental Health Program provides clinician-guided psychiatric care. If Rejoyn is recommended, it will be prescribed as part of an individualized treatment plan following a comprehensive assessment.
Do I need to stop my current treatment to use Rejoyn?
No. Rejoyn is not intended to replace your existing mental health treatment. During your evaluation, your provider will review your current therapies or medications and determine whether it may be used alongside your plan if clinically appropriate.
Can I start Rejoyn right away after booking?
Access to Rejoyn requires a prescription and access code from a licensed clinician. This is typically discussed during your evaluation visit. If your provider determines that Rejoyn is appropriate, they will review next steps and provide instructions for getting started.
Is Rejoyn appropriate for everyone with depression?
Not necessarily. Digital therapeutics are recommended based on individual clinical factors. Your provider will complete a comprehensive assessment to determine whether Rejoyn — or another treatment option — best fits your needs.
Do I need a specific diagnosis before scheduling?
No formal diagnosis is required before your visit. Many individuals schedule an evaluation because they are exploring options for depressive symptoms or looking for additional structured support. Your provider will complete a full assessment during the appointment.
What should I expect during my Rejoyn evaluation appointment?
Your visit includes a clinical discussion of your history, current symptoms, and treatment goals. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine whether Rejoyn may be appropriate as part of your care plan and to discuss other options if needed.
